So the airport ride was a tedious 12 hours, it killed me. Tried to sleep but then someones kid would start crying or just the occasional cough would stir me.

At least there was entertainment, the plane had those "entertainment systems" with movies and games to keep the kids quiet and such. I was finally able to see RockNRolla and Tropic Thunder. I can see what one of my mates meant by saying "It could be better.". RockNRolla was the bomb though, haven't seen a movie like that in ages.

The size of LA is "messave" as the kiwi's would say. There is a big similarity though to Sydney, at least with downtown LA. We have copied the roads and city layouts pretty much down to fine detail. The difference however is the brands and advertising. One ad here for Suburu was hilarious:

"Spring is coming, Spring is more fun in a suburu..."

I don't have 60,000 dollars thanks but no thanks.

Tried Wendy's as well, I asked for a medium triple stacker meal. A triple stacker is akin to a Triple quarter pounder as I soon found out. The medium coke and fries were really a large. My guts didn't feel too good for a little while. Mum's 'regular' is the same as small so yeah, excess is abound here.

The supermarket items are also similar, they have Johnson and Johnson shampoo, Lynx, Revlon, Fruit Loops, Frosties, etc. So pretty much what we have, they have too. However we are like a gaol in a sense that we can't get all of their items. The seas are alike customs and your deodorant can.

Do we really want everything though? Methinks not, I still prefer the lyons takeaway. But we are halfway there, seriously I was that tired that looking around at 7 at night, I thought I was still in Sydney. They do have one thing though, a pre packaged half sandwich and salad. I would be eating healthier if Australia had them.

How do you do it 8-ball? How do you not sleep all that time without going into brain-drain mode. I still haven't gotten your snapple either, haven't head into Hollywood yet.
